A new integration has been built in the production management system: from now on, it will be possible to get information from scales on the weight of finished products.
What have we built?
In a production management system, it is important to describe raw materials and their quantities properly and to record finished output. For each product, the raw materials needed for that specific product are described. The new integration makes it possible to weigh the finished product in the production operation recording program and record whether it matches the plan.
What are the benefits?
Like every new integration, this one brings additional benefits to system users. With the integration with scales, the information received is sent directly to the system, avoiding errors from retyping the data and reducing manual work.
Based on the product information, after weighing, further actions can be taken in the system: write off raw materials, receive the product into stock, or move on to the next action related to the product.
